Since it's too late for me to correct this, I'll post a future warning. Please read the sticky concerning group buys. It's intended for a club activity to save on shipping.

This is not a "group buy" by our definition.

Grandeazul: it is the last "sticky" posy in the FMAS group.

DC: who would I write to to petition to have the existing rules changed for future "group buys?" I understand the purpose of the current rules. However, due to urban sprawl and the way south FL traffic is, some mebers of FMAS live hours from eachother. The group even has a North and a South meeting location that alternates to account for this. Would it be possible to ammend this policy so that we would be allowed to drop ship to other locals to save them the hours and gas? As long as no profit is made and there is no affiliation with the company, I find this to be a reasonable change that would still fit the scope of purpose of the current rule. Thank you for your consideration,

Adam, I don't think the moderators have an issue with shipping to different counties in South Florida. All of South Florida is local. I believe the problem they have is that several buyers jumped in from different states. The rule states a group buy cannot involve non-local participants.

Just a quick update...the person im dealing with at Jebao asked me for 3 weeks to ship and i told her that she promised in 2 weeks...so she will rush the order hopefully

No, it was some new led company that had these tied in to the light controller. He also said something about them actually beginning to distribute the pumps as well. Don't remember the company name but they had some nice looking fixtures.

No worries about this. I've heard from other group buys that the ordering time can be....lengthy....at times. But fear not, they'll get here! I'm looking forward to trying these out. I suspect I overbought (2 wp40's for a 110g tank) but I'll just dial them back for now.

You guys are gonna like these. I just hooked up my wp25 on my 80 gal rimless. Very satisfied. I have it on pretty much the very lowest setting and can still get a 1/2"-1" surface wave. But the LPS in the water are visually swaying back and forth. Any stronger and it would be too much and possibly have water on the floor.

Anyone want to buy an MP40WES from me? LOL
