Jebao WP60

It came out to $55 shipped to US for the 25 and $58 for the 40. That was for the group pricing and iirc the shipping was expensive. I'd have to double check on the price sheet.

I think they are mostly just trying to show the power of the pump and what its capable of doing. I don't think they expect anyone to run their tank with huge waves like that.

Here is the same info I posted on the wp40 thread.

It's easy when the R&D was done by other companies, and the liability for failure is non existent.

Don't want to turn this into another thread of hating Jebaos and what the company does but in this case it's simply the true. So far these pumps are working fine for many reefers.

BTW that is some ridiculous wave

So true so true.

My Grandmother always told me never to steal.

Not everyone listens to Wise Granny though.

I don't think I will ever need the WP60 in my 125g tank but I really like the wide nozzle and thus the wider flow pattern of the WP60.

That is huge...from the comparison pictures it looks like the smaller versions, specially the wp25 can benefit from a wider space between the grille's pins/bars. Maybe removing every other pin could increase flow and reduce accumulation of detritus/alagae (if any).

This wp60 seems suitable for 300g+ tanks, the wave in the video is ridiculous .

Hmm... I'm running two WP40'S (both at full power) in my 210 and could still use more flow - maybe swapping out one for a wp60 would do the trick. I could always dial it down viay Reef Angel Jebao cable if it's overkill...

what mode are you running ? do you have any pic ?

Don't have a pic handy but at the moment I am running both in W1. The pump on the left is pointing towards the right front of the tank and the pump on the right is pointed towards the left back of the tank (so I have the two pumps working in tandem to create a circular pattern).

I plan to run them in a more random flow once my reef Angel controller and Jebao cables come in....

I cant wait was just about to buy 2 more wp40s for my 420 gallon build till I seen these were coming out. I have been running 3 of the wp40's modded for my apex for about 6 months and I run them hard I have about 8 different profiles switching up all day and not a bit of problem. A couple 60's with what I have now will be awesome.

That is a great price ($95) for such a powerful pump. Still under $100! Shipping is less than $15! If you enter "Fishstreet" as coupon code, you get another 3% off! What a deal!

Has anyone heard of the new WP60 pumps being somewhat loud? I know everyone has been happy with their 25 and 40's noise levels. The new 60's sound like a good solution for larger tanks.---Rick
