Jebao WP60

How long is your tank?
The WP40 will reach the far side of a 4' tank with no problem so if you have one 60 on each side of the tank (or even 2 40's) I think mid flow should be fine.

I bought two tested and then decided to stick with my MP60's. The flow is too narrow IMO. if you have the means to modify and open up the mouth Id image you would get the desired flow.

Agreed, as I said before they have great straight on flow, but for over all tank water circulation I like the vortec.

One other question my wp60 keeps falling off the tank the magnet is not near strong enough for 3/4" glass. Has anyone used a different magnet for these pumps?

I have 4 60s on my tank which has 3/4 inch glass. I agree that the magnets could be a little stronger. Early on I had some difficulty with one holding. Making sure that the suction cups seated well seems to have taken care of it.

BE VERY VERY VERY careful with these magnets though. They are no joke.

I have 6 on my 1" acrylic tank. 2 holding WP60s and 4 holding WP40s.

I actually covered all sides on the magnets that aren't against the acrylic with black duct tape and bubble wrap to make them a bit safer. Then covered the side against the acrylic with one layer of black duct tape.

If you order multiple magnets, ask they are wrapped / shipped individually. Trying to get them off of each other in a block separated by spacers (normal way of shipping multiples) is just dangerous to people not familiar with these kinds of magnets (me). I broke one trying to get them off and shipped the back to be sent back to me separated.

Hello couple questions,...why did you cover the sides not against the acrylic? And why the dt on the side against the acrylic? My tunze barely hold on my 1" acrylic, but I still need to slide them to separate the two. I don't think I would be able to do any sliding with duct tape on them.---Rick

The non-sticky side is against the acrylic, just didn't want the bare magnet against the acrylic.

Those magnets are so strong, I didn't want any metal object near the tank to fly at the magnet.

Not joking on how strong they are...

Thanks,...I was thinking maybe that was your reasoning, but had to ask. :)

No problem, I handle them like radioactive waste...

After my wife had one fly out of her hand and hit the stand I took a lot more caution with them ;-)

I have a great white (I think) glass cleaner,... you'll have serious pain if they lock up on your finger. I have to slid them together slowly even with inch acrylic separating the two.

I've been waiting on the dual controller from the NJ warehouse also. I even emailed them to ask when. They said not in the near future. But also told me if you do the math,...you can get 2 60's from NJ + shipping and need to get just the controller from China + shipping, all adds up to the same cost as buying the whole package from China. They have it all figured out. :lmao:---Rick

Yup very true. However, you would have two back-up single controllers should the dual fail. Am I wrong with this logic? We can beat them Rick!

Sorry Rick... I misread your post. It seems like we are thinking the same thing. Do you know if i would need to order a power supply with the controller or does it use the ones that come with the pumps? The site is SO hard to figure out.
