Jebao WP60

Anyone else? I'm thinking of ordering a few of them from fish street but was curious how many failures people have encountered since they were released

Was thinking of getting 2 for my 220g. I already have a reeflo hammerhead with penductors on a CL and a MP60 on the tank but I really like the wave i see these wp-60s make in tanks

6 ft?

Should be way more than enough.

On each end of my 10 ft, I have a WP60 and WP40 pointing down the tank. Then have a WP40 about 3 ft in pointing towards the center glass on each side. Also have two returns pointing from the center overflow to the ends of the tank (each running 2300 gph @ 0 head, but they're at 6ft head).

It's a ton of flow, little too much and sand will sift a little over a week or so. All set on Else in highest speed setting and half on the pulse length.

Then have 2 WP25s and a nano Tunze in the sump :)

Building a new 200g system and just coming in on tail end of this discussion. Looking at Fish Street looks like things are changing in the lineup. I see an FS8000/FS14000 listed for sale now. Always a little leery of Chinese stuff but these seem to be a pretty good deal (especially compared to vortech or tunze).

Anyone have any thoughts on the newer controllers and pumps. I see some are still preorder. Anyone actually got one yet? This thread is a little old and wondering how well the WP series have held up.

nuxx,...lot of pumps. I'm trying figure my 8' set up,...might put two on one end(each side) and alternate on/off.

Always get the newer stuff IMO.

The main change I saw was rubber on the mounts to make the a little more quiet.

Seriously after a month or two they get pretty quiet. I was a little annoyed when I first fired them up. Now having 8 WP running at once, they aren't too bad.

Mine are like this:

I'll try to get a real pic in a bit. My other Kessils should be showing up today. It's been hard with only one A360W-E and some Marineland LEDs getting any good in tank pics...

Nux.. pointing those guys at the front of the tank from the back... don't you get a lot of flow crashing against the front pane of the glass? I have 6 wp60... I point three on each side.. so flow is side to side.. .. you have me thinking though.. can you tell me a little more about the flow in the tank ?

It looks like he would get current hitting the front, but it may be being diverted by the 2 pumps on the side front hitting the front to back current and sending it off in a different direction.

The other option is that by the water hitting the front and bouncing off of it you get a more random flow.

Yeah it's all for the most random / turbulent flow I could get.

I want fish like Achilles Tangs that live in surge zones and love that sort of flow.

Since than tank is so long I wanted a 40 and 60 pointing down the length on each end.

I did notice with that setup, there were dead zones on the far sides of tank where the 40 and 60s are. That's why I have a return pointing straight back towards those pumps.

The WP40s near the center are pointing towards the front glass and they should also cross each other's path and also the paths of the pumps on the ends of the tank. Just creating more turbulence.

I do have a little bit of sand movement over time, which is annoying. But hopefully as the sand gets full of live gunk, it'll be a little harder to move around.

Hey nuxx,...could you tell me is the base/magnet that attaches to the glass the same size on the 40 as is on the 60, or is the 60 larger? Thanks,---Rick
