just want to see were everyone is keeping there jedi monti's
under led lighting

i tried mounting it to the corner over flow but it turned brownish with slight purple rim

it was there for 3 months now, thinkin it an't happy
any suggestions

also i have 48 3w crees on a 90g with 60,80,and no optics
running cw at 90 percent
rb at 85 percent
uv at 80 percent

all other corals are looking awesome

Don't have LEDs, but I have two pieces, one is getting blasted with light and flow, about 7" under a 150W metal halide, right at the top of my tank (glued to the wall), and it is really happy. The other is about 14" under 150W metal halide and moderate flow. It is also happy, but not quite as colorful as the other.

i have read about monti's under leds doing better in lower par ranges
any one with personal experince

Mine is all the way down at the bottom of my 24" tall tank under 8 t5s.... Great green and purple colors. I'd think it has more to do with water quality, but maybe not.

Mine is near the bottom of a 6 bulb t5 lit 125g. Doing well, IMO. scrolling with a purple rim.

I would say mine is sitting Mid Tank, Moderate to heavy flow.. color isn't the best atm, because its recovering from a small tank crash.. but atleast its coming around and I didn't loose it

just bumping this./. I had one that bleached under ai led lighting at 50% blues and 10 white... was half way down my 30 inch tank and lights are 14 inches above the water..

I just got another one (these are large frags, 4 inches) i put it even lower and 5 day slight bleaching.. I have now moved most of the montis i just bought out of the direct led light and into some shade.. this is my only dis like on leds!
