John's 72gal Bowfront

Hey everyone. So I started a thread on my new 110 that I am building in the DIY area and I thought I would start a thread on my current tank. It is a 72gal bowfront with a 20gal long sump. I have a coralife 125 skimmer and about a 500GPH return pump. It has been running almost 1 year now...Enjoy the pictures.

As you can see it has gone through quite a few re-aquascapes. I am happy now but as soon as my 110 is done this will all be moved over. I will post some nicer pictures of the inhabitants when I figure out how the new camera works. Peace.

Thanks, I am really liking the way it's coming along. I don't dose anything, all I do is a 10 gal water change every other week....Seems to be working if you ask me.

Just picked up a skimz sk-181 from a buddy for $100, yeah he owed me one. Seems to be working like a champ, and way less micro bubbles that the coralife.

Well seems photbucket isn't working so I'll try again when I get home.:headwally:

I ended up getting lucky and this fit where the old skimmer was... Barely.

Well I just placed an order from glass-holes so I can finally put a real overflow in this tank. I also picked up a 34 gal acrylic I will be turning into a sump, just might have to do some work to the stand to get it to fit.

Yeah it's a beast, I would highly recommend one. Pulls some nasty funk outta the tank.
