I been mixing reef chili with mysis and trying to feed it. I moved it back to the sand bed as suggested. Should i keep it in full light or shade it?

I would have it under full light but off to the side. As it colors, slowly move it into the middle. Don't expect anything but brown to start. That will show the start of a new algae population. It is going to be slow, but very worth it. Some of my rescues are some of my best looking corals and the ones I am most proud of. Lots of TLC

Thank you for the help..its def. Got a ways to go with color...i can see the green under the moon lights and a little bit under acintics but not much. Its still pretty happy though. I have two branches forming already...only half an inch long but i see them.:D
Right now its about 6 inches from the front glass. Maybe ill move it closer to some shade.

The brighter blue pic was a different setting to show the growth (white tips). But i think its.coming along!:D
dont mind the photo bomber in the last pic...the chromis is a different one...lol hes nuts.

These birdies are pretty hardy. You shouldn't have any problem recovering it. Mine grows like wildfire.
It looks like it's already making a come back.

So, im starting to get the "brown" algae. Should i try moving it up on a rock thats close to the sand or leave it alone?

It'll be fine. I would cut the frag plug off and glue/epoxy the BOP itself to the rock. Or glue the plug to the rock.

I tried glueing the plug to a rock but it did not hold at all. Once i am finally able to move it up top i will use epoxy..
Right now its about half way up from the bottom and color is coming in good!
I have also been feeding it well.:D

Use a small ball of epoxy as you're moving it up to secure. It's really easy to wiggle it off the rock anyway.

i did not notice how many branches have grown until i moved it today..
