JR Aquatics 180 Gallon Nano Reef

Think I can squeeze a RO3 pendant behind it? I was going to run the pc's and a single halide in the center. The RO3 will cover 36x18 nicely and will be dim on the outer edges. It's just for fish so I don't care.

Remember there is a center brace on the tank. I don't know the exact dem. but the housing looks like a standard florecent fixture with the wood grain and all, if I had to guess it is around 6 inches give or take.

and yes, I know, that is what she said.

JRaquatics-

I'll help you scape your tank. But still won't look until you get some sand in there:D .

manifold looks good. Nice and clean. How does it work for you?

Works great.. Total control of water flow- I put the valves to close together and had to angle them a little so I could shut on/off without hitting each other. Not a big deal though... It works like I want it too, thats all that matters.

Mike called me today and said you were looking for some layout dim. I will work on them tonight.

Thanks I'm at that point were the sump needs to be started before I can move along.

Not to hijack your thread but what do you think about this..

I've been kicking around the idea of
Building a refuge within the sump. Something like this. The refuge will be built along the front 36" X 12" leaving about 12" behind that will be a channel of sorts were I can place live rock.
1 of the drains will fed the refuge and the other will fed the sump via a bubble trap. I'll place baffles before the return.. Don't know if that makes sense..

Yea it sounds like Acroporanuts (Mikes) sump. Except he feeds his fuge with a maxi jet.

Does the fuge spill over into the sump. Also does the maxi jet pump water from the sump?

Thanks
