Thanks for all the comments. I am getting awsome growth, and I frag regularly.
The other return is hooked up to a wavysea.

Here's a pic of the elegance.

A bad shot of the top down the wavey sea kept causing a slight ripple.

And another side shot. now from the left side of the tank.

wholly crap it's looking good! I think they're outgrowing/pacing your blue tang! I like the 4rd pic down of the tang for your avatar. Keep us posted... another 6-8 months and the sps will have really filled in.

also - what are you thoughts on the elegance?

Tank was set up in November. I placed my corals from my 90gal to the 180 the firstor second week in December 07.
I received frags from Mike on the 16th of February 08. Everything has been growing since. I just love this lighting setup- Lumenbrights+12k reelfux+CoralVue Ballast= perfect lighting.

Chris, IMO if you can for sure get a Aussie Ellegance then it should do well. Ellegance is what got me into reefing in the firstplace, it was a must have this time around.

JR. I LOVE the side shot's.... I see a T.O.T.M in your future!!

Keep up the great work.

Mike

Thanks Mike. The tank would have never progressed this fast and well without all your great advice and guidance. You are defiantly a great asset to the hobby. After seeing your tank I knew I had a goal....To make mine better.:D

Just shows how hard it is to ID some fish...
Acanthurus maculiceps - Spotted Cheek Tang

PETCO $24.99 (wrong picture, wrong common/scientific name)
http://www.petco.com/product/104501/Spotted-Cheek-Tang.aspx

That Fish Place $89.99 (Wrong fish in picture and wrong price - though $89.99 for what's pictured is right)
http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/237774/product.web

Live Aquaria $199.99 (wrong picture but right price (someone will heavily overpay for this fish))
http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/ItemDisplay.cfm?c=2733+3&ddid=40492

Correct picture, common name, scientific name
http://www.fishbase.org/Photos/PicturesSummary.cfm?ID=4746&what=species

Compare to this picture - body is tan especially when young) and dark brown/black - no broad stripes - the correct Acanthurus maculiceps will likely be $200+ unless you're lucky... use caution when buying this fish as many look very similar - also notice the marking behind the eye)
