So I decided to get a smaller tank for myself in my room thus the search on CL and local forums led me to this tank.

It has some flaws but all in all in was a great buy. One feature I liked about the tank was that the previous owner added a LED refugium lights.

It was a long 2-3 hour of cleaning and removing sand that he left in the tank and more cleaning. Did leak test for a day and let it sit in my garage and next day its in in my room.

Got some dry rocks and used a rock from my other tank, and new sand. I think its about 20lb LS and 25lb LR

The lights are on and everything is plugged in.

Any suggestions on the Aquascaping, I kidna just had them against the back wall, wanted to leave some space in the front for different types of frags.

Dont have alot of plans on what to get but this is going to be 1-2 fish tank with as much corals I can fit in.

Well now its the waiting game, I will report if there is anything new.

Tank looks great, I just picked up a 14 myself and am starting a build thread. Those are some HUGE chunks of rock! The scape looks good is it just 4 monster pieces of rock in there? And sorry to hijack your thread but how did you upload your photos like that? I tried uploading photos yesterday and it was quite frustrating and it took me forever and only was able to do it as attachments. Sorry if this is a newb question.

Thanks for the compliment, and yes they are four large rocks. Wanted to have a wall of rock feel to it and I think it came out well.

My pictures are loaded onto photobucket website and I load them on here with a link that's provided by photobucket. When you click on the picture icon on the text box it will ask you to put a link of the picture.

A small update

Nothing really happending on the tank it self but the temp in the tank is getting hotter than what I expected.

possible because of where I place it can get some sunlight in the day.

Currently with lights off it has gone high as 83f and low as 81f

I might need to rig a PC fan on the feeder section to provide better circulation of air and hope this will cool the tank down a little.

Will drop by the comptuer store tomorrow to see what is avaiable.

Also added some cheato to the refugium section and noticed one of the stock fan has gone out.

Picture will come once I have things under control.
