JULY 2011 NTOTM-Hypes Archipelago

The yellow tang was removed from the tank while it was still a juvenile and moved to a larger tank but thanks for beating the dead horse...

but looking at past NTOTM they contain tangs...

its completely stupid

your saying to the noobs that look for inspiration "its ok to keep a fish that can get to 9" in your 20g tank"

there should be a entry thing saying you cannot enter if there are tangs

Thats certainly a vald concern maybe you should message some of the mods of the site and let them know your feelings...

I'm well aware of your concerns but the issue has been dealt with by the referenced aquarists. I've already told you to drop it once, this is twice, there won't be a third warning.

BTW rehype, great looking tank

As I posted in another thread of yours I'm planning a similar build but deeper. The Mrs was questioning my sanity until she saw the pics of your tank. Ordered the glass today.......

How big are your return and drain ? Any chance of seeing pics of the inside of the overflow and sump ?

I'm getting back into the hobby after a 5 year break. Doing a 29g Oceanic BioCube and looking at the NTOTM threads ... your tank is beautiful, it really does look like a small part of the ocean and the edge of a reef. Well done!

Just beautiful. Great looking tank, much inspiration.

Have you lost any fish to jumping, I see no cover or net?

Thanks for the great build and pics.

your tank looks very transparent & non-reflective, i like it when i can see the other side of the tank very clearly. what glass are you using, is it starphire glass?
