I have plenty of GFO too -- bot a couple gallon jug from brs a while back. Good idea on the group buy -- we should coordinate that with the oceanic salt group buy at the same time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon....The ribs are smelling great over the fire and the steaks are marinating---almost ready to grill!

Hi guys been doing my tank transfer since 7 am and just got done but my house and the carpet smells like salt water.. I made a little mess.. I tried to leave but my mom wants me to clean the carpet so if I get it all done and I dont pass out from being dead tired I'll come I realy want to but will see.. The new tank looks really good soooo nice but I dont have a camera to take pics so soon as I borrow one I will.. might be selling my BC14 with stevie T's media rack and 50w heater and k-nano no stand or top... let me know...later all...Brian

Thanks so much for the nice comments! It really is such a great hobby. Wish I could have had a club like this when I first started in the hobby--could have saved me so much in the learniing curve / set-up mistakes and wasting money on stuff I didnt need!

Thanks for hosting Seth! We had a great time! Ruth was very impressed with the tank...and is now expecting my little piece of the ocean to look the same. I have some work cut out for me. On the way home, I casually mentioned putting a nice big tank where my kids currently have their play room. Perfect place for a nice big tank and basement sump setup. She said once the kids don't need that space, she woudln't be opposed to it. I'm now trying to figure out how to get rid of all their toys without them freaking out. She must have thought that statement would buy her a few years....

LOL very funny. Brings me back to when my family left for vacation and came back to a...SURPRISE. new 300g set-up. That took some fast work. Now you just need to get your wife and kids to go on a little family trip without you to pull it all off!

Had a great time, your tank is amazing...it has really filled out over the past year and it was great last summer. Thanks for the leather and candy cane frag. There are both settled in and the leather has locked on to its rock and opened up nicely.
