July Meeting

I am going to need to bail on this weekend. My wife is tired of looking at the screen mesh on the front of the house and wants to go order stone. I realize this is not as good of an excuse as needing to pressure wash but never the less it is the truth.

Elysia - What did you do to get kick out? You are not making your dogs swallow helium balloons are you?

Elysia, +1 to what Jandree said. Your always welcome to hang out with us, we don't discriminate too much. That really does sound like company I could do without, not appreciating what you have done for their club and seeming to be totally into it with your dog/s?, then kicking you out, F'm. Have a good one everyone.

Can we get a count on who is going on Saturday?
Matt

aushep-- I tried to keep an eye out for you, but I was running around like crazy trying to do my volunteer duties.

That crazy dog was Wilson -- he jumped 27' 6" and did totally soak me. His owner was the one who sent the email telling us that we were kicked out of the Club.

It is "the perceived negative/questioning vibe that most people feel from both of you" that "has warranted these actions."

I guess those inqusitive folks that use to subscribe to People magazine ("I want to know") wouldn't be welcome in Keystone DockDogs.

LP -- the ecentric lady (Beth) who jumps her Norfolk terrier Bingley will be at TFP. I told her you might be there (but then again, I also told her I would be there. )

Ok, not trying to pry, but I really don't get it. What questions or negative vibes were going on?

We can't ask -- it will just support their charge that we give off a "questioning" vibe! I did think that the club should give prize bags to all of its finalists. And that the Club should contribute a bit more to charities.

So I guess that was perceived as being negative. The negativity of being generous.

I was a few yards out in a lake on a small isolated platform for parts of our last event -- I don't think people were feeling any vibes from me!

I know you're hyped on the whole dockdogs thing, so maybe let it rest for a bit, and write a letter or email to whomever is in charge and try to smooth things over. Whatever it is/was can't be that bad, and if explanations are presented in the proper manner, you should be able to get back in. Just be careful what you say about their leadership, etc. in public forums like this if you want back in.

Just my $0.02

-Steve
