Well, three things have happend since my last update, the Crocea Clam has died for unknown reasons, I added a small Carkii Clownfish, and I have begun feeding DT's Oyster Eggs and I am seeing drastic color change in my SPS, I'm lovin' it.

Comments? Questions? Suggestions?

Comments? Nice looking tank...been thinking about getting a 20 H myself.

Questions? What kind of lighting are you using on this? What pump are you using with the closed loop, and do you like the flow you're getting out of it?

Suggestions? My only suggestion right off the top of my head would be a background of some type to hide all that equipment and be more of a contrast to set off your coral colors better.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion. I am using a 250w DE MH Pendant (I built it myself) with a Phoenix 14k Bulb. For the Closed loop I am using a Mag 9.5 and I like the amount of flow that I am getting out of it, even with 4 outlets. I have a mag 5 for the sump return, one outlet.

Looks good.

I would also suggest a background. All the equipment and plumbing is distracting from the tank.

looks good. Did you have your crocea in the in the sand or on a rock. Just curious as I've heard if you keep them in the sand a bristle warm can get in threw the foot and kill it.

It was in the sand, but I have NEVER seen a bristle worm in this tank. I only had ait foor a few weeks, maybe it was already on it's way out when i bought it?

Looking good Travis! I noticed a BIG difference in the color of my sps after I started feeding oyster eggs also.

I would go with a black background.

Hey guys, I got some new stuff today.

Orange Cap

Zoanthids, Orange Mouth, Dark DARK Green Ring, and Brown Polyps. There are some others on here, the look blue/green and spekly, it's realy hard to describe these.

And the FTS

I kind of like it without the background.

I have a good bit of Micro bubbles comeing from the CLS and I'm not sure where it's sucking in air. When I have a background, those bubles are VERY visable.
