Anybody seen any for sale at a LFS?

Shotanks(Mundelien) had some that were about 1 1/2" long. This was about a week ago, so I don't know if they still have any. Is that about the size you were talking about?

Ocean Design has them, lots of them. Decent pricing too.

Yes, the bigger the better. I'm actually looking for something to stir up the sand bed and was thinking of going with a fighting conch but since I only have a 45 gallon I'm only recommended 1 or 2. If the Jumbo Nassarius are like the Vibex then I can probably put more in my tank.

I'll be calling Ocean Design since it's closer and also PA since I'll be ordering some drygoods also.

In a 45 I wouldn't put more than 4 or 5 in. They will sift plenty, believe me. If you can find a couple of large stomatellas, they do a job too.

Steve at Reef Plus had a bunch, over an inch, long and beautiful shells, bough a bunch - happy to pick some up if you want to hook up. we can trade the frogspawn and shrooms and I can get you the snails - was horribly busy this weekend...

You sure he had the Tongans? I've only been to his shop a handful of times but when I was there he only had the nassarius vibex in.

You got a deal.... I'll take 10 of the snails and I can pay you when we meet up. I live near Midway and we can meet halfway since you're in Naperville. I can only meet in the evening since I get home from work at 3:30 and traffic dies down at about 6P.M.
