Jumping fish - cure?

I seem to like fish that jump. Does a caNopy fix this issue?

+1 for the 1/4" mesh. I lost a couple firefish then added the mesh screen top noones jumped out since.

So a canopy does not keep them in?

A canopy will work so long as it doesn't have small holes in it. Fish sometimes seem to be able to find the smallest holes and fit through.

I've have a canopy on my tank and my Diamond Goby made it out the back slot. Used plastic gutter screen to solve that.
