First off, I'd like to say Thank you so much for this great honor! I am very happy to be chosen ROTM on this great forum.
My name is Pyithar, I am from Myanmar(Burma). I've always been around freshwater tanks since I was a little boy. I started my first saltwater tank with a pair of clownfish in 2003 while I was living in California for a year. I gave away the whole setup when I drove back to New York to finish my undergraduate studies. I got back into the saltwater hobby again when I came back to Myanmar after my graduation in 2008. I started doing lots of reading and I discovered the Reef Central. After lurking around the forum for a couple of years, I joined the Reef Central in 2013.
My current tank is a 150 gallon sps dominated mixed reef. It's an upgrade from a 50 gallon tank that ended up leaking. There was no saltwater fish store in Myanmar until a couple of years ago. Also, there're only a few reefers in Myanmar. So I've learned all my reef keeping knowledge from the fellow reefers on RC. Thanks to the good advices that I was given on this forum, I've saved plenty of money, time, and heartaches. In return, I'd love to contribute to this forum. I will continue sharing my experiences and knowledge so that new reefers don't make the same mistakes that I made.
Once again, I'd like to thank all the Reef Central staff and all the members for all the help that I've gotten over the years.
Best Regards,
Pyithar
