We finally were able to figure out a date for a Road trip to tour Tidal Gardens. It will be on June 17, the tour will begin at 3 pm. We need to organize car pooling- so please post if u plan on coming and where you live. Hopefully, we can at least arrange rides from different areas to meet up in Cranberry Perkins parking lot around 1-1:30 as it takes about 90 minutes from there to drive to Tidal Gardens. The club will be paying for the tour fee as it will be considered the official June meeting. They do have both indoor and outdoor facilities so we could socialize after tour - have a small meeting, etc. They do not have food or beverages - its bring your own.

Would like to get a headcount on who is going to the meeting/tour at Tidal Gardens. Please post or pm me if u are planning on coming.

OK.

Jeremy, Val, Sandy and I are all good to go!!
Will probably share a car for the trip.

Only the first 25 people to show up can attend!!! The maximum tour group size is 25, so better hurry to reserve your spot.

Have only heard from a few people about the meeting/trip on Saturday. If your going please contact me. Due to the poor response (less than 8 people) - timing on when we leave may change. So, please get a hold of me.

To anybody who wants to go today, there is room for more - we are meeting at my place at 2 pm for ride sharing or at Tidal Gardens at 4 pm. Please get a hold of me if you are going to meet up at Tidal gardens. The Green house at Tidal Gardens ( where they grow corals) will be very hot- figure mid 90's - so bring water and wear appropriate clothing.

SO we had 9 people who did the June road trip club meeting to Tidal Gardens yesterday. What a cool place. Lots a frags , great info and personalized service.

Maybe next summer we can organized it better and get more people to go and take advantage of the really cool restored barn ( see video) . They have " live sales" online and if we timed out our visit right - we could all save on shipping anything we buy during the "live sale" and just pick it up.
