pink brain?? don't think so looks like a reverse bubble gum monster or another type of chalice

Well then my error..oh well..

Thank you for the kind comments. The last picture is the famous Bazooka Joe chalice. The orange and green coral is a Scoly. It has really held its color even in the bottom of my tank in almost full shade. I am setting up my Elos 120xl so the 90 gallon will be taken down soon.

Very nice. I love the Bazooka Joe. :inlove:

What is that bright orange colony in the first picture?

Thanks TJ. The orange colony in the first picture is the Montipora Setosa from frag Farmer. It's like 7"X7". That colony really took off growing after I stopped dosing Zeo. I believe corals really need some nutrients in the water. Dan.

Haha... that's what I thought... but the colony was so large I figured I was seeing things.

Also, what's your growth rate on that Bazooka Joe been like? I've almost picked up a piece a few times, but it's usually like the size of a finger nail clipping when I find it... so I haven't pulled the trigger.

Erik, thats what Jeff said when he saw it yesterday. The Scoly is the exact same one as ktar is selling right now.
TJ, Pull the trigger on even a small frag if you can find it. I would just be sure there is atleast one mouth on it. Also I would be sure it is healed for a week before I bought it. My growth rate has been so so with this piece. It has probably doubled in size in about 8 months.

Although all his corals are amazing, that setosa is particularly unique especially considering how slow they grow.

Thanks for the info... I'll have to bump it up my list a few notches. I saw a piece of Bazooka Joe next to the Tyree Pink Watermelon, and couldn't believe how much brighter it was than the Pink Watermelon.

Hi Sean, that is the Serdars Sapphire. I trade pieces of it for other LE corals. That is how I got my piece of the IceFire Echinata. You can almost see the IceFire behind the Superman Montipora in the first picture.

Its a super cool looking piece Ill have to find something worthy of a chunk of that ...........lol Yur Stuff looks tops as usual Dan !!!

Hey Tony, Yep tomorrow afternoon my good man. Thanks for the complements. Yes the Elos sitting there just staring at me was slowly killing me.
