Hi all, this is my first post in the forum so forgive me if i'm being stupid. I have a relatively new tank, just under a year old. I have a branching hammer, Red Cap, zoos, a brain coral and i just added a deep water Acro to the tank. All corals have been doing well, especially the zoos and hammer.
I bought a deep water acro frag that's about 3"x3" for $35, i couldn't pass it up. Since this is my first acro and they are somewhat difficult to keep i had some questions.
Location is top of the tank for max light, it's in the process of acclimation right now. The LFS uses T5 light i have an LED any concerns with a switch in the light source?
I have it in the highest flow region of my tank, the circ pump is pointed at it pretty much, what signs would i see from too much flow or not enough flow?
I see the tenticles come out at night which is a good thing i guess. Can I/should I target feed this coral as I do for everything else?
What other watchouts should i keep in mind?
This is my favorite coral i got into this hobby in part because i love these corals, I probably should have waited as all of the info i looked into suggests a well established tank. My tank is doing really well so i ventured down this road.
Any help or info is greatly appreciated...thank you.
