Ok let me start by saying sorry for the dumb questions.

I just added (2) 5 polp frags of green and orange/brown zoos to my tank. I have a Red sea max and they seem to be ok in the tank with the current and lighting. My question is what is their reproduction rate? This will help me decide where to place them for a more permanent home. Other than a Kenya tree this is my first attempt at keeping coral so please bare with me.

What should I be adding to the tank to make them grow at max rate?

Any help is greatly appreciated

I put mine high up close to the lights and they grow like weeds, but i also add phytoplankton everyother day and iodide a couple times a week

Not a dumb question.
There is no real concrete growth rate per se. all depends on lighting, current/flow, feeding, pests, and the list goes on from there.
With the lights you have, considering you have what comes stock on that setup, you should maintain consistent growth.
I say if everything is going as well as it can after your zoanthids have had time to acclimate you could expect to see 7-8 polyps after about a month. Thats a good guesstimation IMO.
The healthier you are with what you practice the better.
Good luck.

Thanks. The tank is a father son project so it is constantly under someones watchful eye. We have been using Marine snow and reef system to keep up feeding for now. But looks like I need to switch feeding tactics.

As everyone know this hobby is costly and I just dont want to kill anything because of my stupidty.

I would not worry about feeding them foods and such, They will do just fine without them. People tend to worry about the specific needs to the coral eating when the coral really needs clean water and good light too. Feeding your fish will be all the corals prettymuch need as to eating. Waterchanges will provide whatever that does not. Will this get ypu the fastest growth? No, But you will have a cleaner tank with happy corals with clean water. JMO
Just focus on tank husbandry, and the rest will fall in place. Adding a bunch of foods will only make it harder to keep the tank clean.
Good luck.
