Just came back from Aquarium Concept's in Dublin,CA.

'WOW' they have a very nice clean setup now, even better than the old location in hayward, CA. a whole bunch more drygoods and more space and beautiful display tanks. i really like the huge cylindrical tank in the middle of the sales floor, and also the one to the far right against the wall as you walk in the store it has a pretty huge staghorn colony in it bright green with purple tip's, it was amazing and i really enjoyed the trip up there too! just thought i'd give a heads up if any of you fellow reefers havent checked it out yet. they have a very large selection of acro's,lps,softie's too! have a good night everybody!

I too like that store a lot. I go there every tuesday because of work and I just love that store. Their prices are right and the stock is in good shape most of the time.

The only stores I go now is Aquarium Concept and New Alameda. Too bad I live kind of far from NA or else I'd go there more .

Yep, I was there yesterday picking up a 1/4 hp JBJ chiller. The cylinder tanks is awesome and huge. The store reminds me of an all fish Petco sized with lots of stuff. Most stuff I've seen so far for all the LFS around the bay since Nippon Goldfish...

Although they are having an ich problem with that cylinder tank. Anyone else noticed? But it's clearing up really well because it was more cloudy before. I'm just glad they moved, that means I don't have to go to All About Fish or Concord Aquarium.

i did notice yesterday that they had a very huge u.v. sterilizer under that cylindrical tank, so it looks really good now all cleared up and the such, im really thinking their my bestest lfs now and i go all over the bay from salinas,ca. too, go figure im crazy for saltwater fish and corals:wildone: well guys and gals im off to do a water change have a happy sunday...

heck, i live the farthest from every lfs anywhere in the whole bay area i go all over the bay area for a good lfs, im insanely addicted to this stuff!
i really wish there were more of you acro fanatics in my immediate area because i sure do need some help stabilizing my 100, gallon reef. anyhow, i travel far and wide just to see a beautiful big store filled with all the ends and trimmings, have a wonderful sunday my fellow bay area peeps...

I agree, Aquarium Concepts has a lot of fish, assorted corals and lots of dry goods I don't have to order and wait for because I can do that myself. I also I discovered from talking with the employees at Aquarium Concepts they buy most livestock brought in for store credit!
