Just caught wind of fishy business grand opening

Is it worth the trip over there, I keep a FOWLR so I'm looking for interesting fish?

Ed, give them a little time on the fish stocking. They're trying to get a QT program going and Id imagine its gonna take some time to figure out a routine and get to the point where they can keep the fish rolling out. I wouldn't imagine it's a routine guys like you and I would ditch our QT for but it's always great to see a FS trying to provide healthier fish. Don't hesitate to call and let them know what your looking for, they are much more willing to do special orders than other stores we've had in the past and don't quote me on this but I don't believe they are gonna even want a deposit.

Got a chance to stop by nice place good looking set up. Only thing that I was disappointed about was drove all the way over there for saltwater and they didnt have any....maybe its the Reef Gods telling me to buy a ro unit already

They did have water on hand, they had 300 gallons of natural Sea water on hand that was trucked in from California.

Sorry pal should have got there at 10. Dan said they were getting more maybe yellow too..

I'm just kidding buddy, glad you got him. Really cool star, nice pick up

That is great to hear! That would be amazing to have an LFS that I would actually buy fish from :bounce3:

Wasn't able to get down there today. but a buddy of mine did! Said the store was really nice inside and that the fish were extremely reasonably priced. Which I am super glad to hear bc thats not the case at some other LFS. I wish these guys luck and hope that we can show our support to help them grow!

if anyone took any pictures of the store I'd love to see them! Especially if t was from the frag swap!

My dad keeps a FOWLR Tank and stopped by and told me that they had the rare Helfrichi Firefish for $75 which is cheaper than LiveAquaria. Also Heniochus Butterfly fish for $30 which doesn't sound too bad. I plan to visit soon to check out their corals.

Yes - they do have the Helfrichi Firefish for $75.00 and I almost pulled the trigger on buying a pair of them !!! But I asked them to order me a Mc Cosker wrasse for now !!! As I do love wrasse !!!

The guys put on a good show. I know they had been busting their butts for over two weeks. A frag swap last weekend and their grand opening yesterday. You know that took some effort.

Picked up a few nice pieces, to include a beautiful Scolymia. Pretty good selection of food stuffs on hand as well as some fresh brine shrimp in the back. I'm sure the store is going to evolve nicely.
