Just finished my diy sump and pluming

Nothing leaks FEEWWWW. I built it in a 3 piece modular design so if any part fails I can easily unscrew that section and fix it out of the sump. Now I just need to add my highly technical refugium lol.(Food container fed by adjustable ball valve from main pump with two bulkheads spilling into my sump.) About $10.
Will fill over weekend. Next live rock design and Mike to the rescue.

Should I cover the metal tube ties with tape? I don't know if they will rust being somewhat close to the water. I was afraid to go plastic

Ball valve for return into sump not verticle with a flow reducer.. when it is open air goes in. maby another baffle in the over under bubble trap. Bigger sump(I couldn't fit a bigger one with my tank shape.)

The metal clamps hold up pretty well as long as you use the stainless ones. I just try and trade them out every now and then.
