If she is letting him sleep in the anemone then it is usually just a matter of time before they pair.
If she hadn't accepted him at all, then I would have suggested putting her in a container (tupperware with holes or something) and float her in the tank for a couple days while the juvenile gets used to the anemone. By the time you let the female out he has had a chance to gain a little confidence in his surroundings and is better able to stand up to her.
Since she has already started to allow him to sleep in the anemone, I would just let them be at this point.

when i adopted a breeding pair of clarkii's from my friend's tank...the male i rarely saw as whenever it would poke out of the rocks, the female would attack it. eventually it let the male into the rbta she was hosting in and all was good.

few months later, i re-aquascaped and the whole thing started again and in about 1-2 weeks, everything was back to normal.

Alright...sorry about that phender. But thanks for the reply. Each night so far the juvi goes to the carpet and as soon as he rests the female chases him out but not very far (only like 3 inches away from the nem). But after a little bit she will let him sleep in it. But as soon as morning comes, hes out again. Probably just a matter of time now.

Must say i just saw the video and that is so sweet! Blue carpets are one of the nicest carpets if not the nicest. Also like the red ones but are very hard to come by.

Yes I love the Bluecarpet very much. Does anyone know how big male clarkiis get once they have become accepted?

In a mature clarki pair it is difficult to tell the difference between the male and the female in a pair because they can be nearly the same size.

Well what do you guys think of the pictures? Bluecarpet, my bluecarpet looks great in my tank. I am glad I got it healthy from you.

I have a question though. Will my juvi clarkii grow or will it only grow until it has been accepted by the female clarkii?

So does anyone know about if my juvi will grow right now or does it have to wait to be accepted? Sorry if the question sounds confusing.
