Just got clean water

It was not an RO only reading, but through the di resin at 25. I thought the membrane should be good for around 2 years? Assuming the carbon blocks stay active. That is not true?

The membrane should last for ~3 years. Check your pre and post RO TDS. If out is >2% of in, and you have the 75 gpd filmtec, then you may have a problem with the membrane. It could be simply a matter of it not being seated properly, or it could be a damaged membrane and need to be replaced. If the post RO TDS is fine, then what that means is your DI resin was adding stuff back into the water (rather than taking it out) when you were getting a post DI TDS of 25.

I use the spare bathroom method. I have the Frankenstein six stage hooked up to the faucet in the spare bathroom (currently through a screw on gardenhose fitting). I run the output from the DI into a float valve on a 35 gallon rubermaid tub in the bath tub. That way, if anything overflows, it goes down the drain. I then pump out of the 35 gal with a MJ 1200 and tubing into either 5 gallon buckets or other 5 gallon tubs (salt water, etc.).

I was wondering about that one, too, but then I figured, that Huy guy is kinda strange anyway. Not at all like his cool cousin with the flaming purple gorg. If she hadn't known about RO/DI, would you have refrained from getting wasted? That would be disappointing, too.
