I've asked similar question at Coral Prop Forum. I just got leather coral frag and acclimating it right now. The question is do I do lugol dip to remove potential pests, if so, then for how long? Another question, how do I attach it to rock? Wedge it in? Superglue it? etc...

depending what type of leather it is it could be hard to SG, some slime up pretty bad while others do not. I wouldnt worry about the dip if it is just a clump of leather. IMHO
I use to use a rubberband to get them to attach to rock. Best of luck with your new coral
