I must say this is one awsome rig. The thing weighs a ton. Afraid its gonna rip the screw out of the wall. Anyways, had it up and running in about 10 minutes. Geez, didn't even give me enough time to drink one beer. Water pressure is sitting right around 42 psi and TDS in is around 100, RO is 5, and RO/DI is 0. I am still trying to figure out all the valves. Anyone that has one what exactly is the DI bypass for. AND DON'T SAY TO BYPASS THE DI. When I open the RO only valve I have to close the water coming out the DI unit to get the water to come out the RO only valve. The DI bypass valve doesn't seem to have any effect? Some help me out here. When you want to shut the water off, is it better to shut off the supply line or just close the line coming out of the DI canister and let the auto-shutoff valve shut things down? Thanks for any help. Also I read on here somewhere that somebody was talking about how the service at AIRWATERICE wasn't that good anymore. I have no idea where they got that from. When I got mine, the top of the DI canister was loose and came to find out that the screws would not tighten up. One email to airwaterice and they had new parts on the way at no charge. AMAZING SERVICE. Just didn't want that other post scaring anyone.

THE DI BYPASS: This is a real plus. It allows you to waste the first water produced by your system. When you first start any RO system the water quality is not up to snuff. By opening this valve and wasting that water to drain you will extend your DI Cartridge life
This is a really good unit. I have had mine for a year and I still have 0 PPM out of the RO/DI and 2 PPM out of the RO.

That plus it gives you RO only water for drinking and cooking.

I just got mine mounted on the wall in the garage on the other side of the wall from the laundry room. Lots more room for containers in the garage, and I'll eventually put a hole in the wall to run the feed line and drain line back into the laundry room. I am temporarily feeding it with a garden house and running the drain out the garage door.
Question - When you say water pressure is right around 42 psi, is that the pressure on the guage that comes with the unit that is insstalled in the drain line? Mine is running about 30 psi on that guage, which I think shows waste line backpressure.) OR, do you have a pressure guage in line with the filter INPUT, and reading 42 psi there?
I ask because I know I have low water pressure and I ordered and installed a booster pump with my Typhoon III. It has a pressure switch that is supposed to control it, but it doesn't seem to come on much at all. I don't have a pressure guage on the inlet side of the filter, between the pressure pump and the filter, so I don't know what the pressure is there. I guess I will need to get another pressure guage.
So, does anyone know how to set up the pressure switch on the booster pump?

You should just be able to use the pressure gauge that came with the T3. Hook it up just after the booster pump.
I'm not sure how to set up the pressure switch on the booster pump. Did it come with a manual? I'd contact AWI if I were you to make sure everything is setup right.
