This weekend I picked up a pair of 6100.10 pumps with magnet mounts and a 7091 controller. These replaced 2 Hydor Koralia 3's in my 90 AGA, and the first thing I noticed was a lot of detrius being kicked up
(looked like a brown snow storm).
I'm looking for the best way to set up the pumps with only one controller. I'm open to picking up another 7091 if I can find one for a good price, or just linking them together. I have one pump set about 50%, and the other one pulsing between high and low about every 7 seconds. After a day I could tell a difference in several corals. Is it worth it to get another 7091 and leave them separate, or should I spring for the 7095? I was planning to get an Apex and use that for controlling the pumps, but that had to be put on hold for a bit (maybe Xmas).
Overall these pumps are awesome! It's incredible watching the water level surge up and down on the side of the tank that's pulsing (not much, but noticeable to me) and seeing the surface disturbance (no surface film like I had with the K3's).
