Just introducing myself

Just made the jump to SW after keeping FW (cichlids) for the last 20 years.

Bought a used 120gal with a bunch of goodies. Now I am learning how to set it all up. This hobby is a lot more complicated than I thought, and it feels overwhelming at times.

The market of equipment and methods is just staggering. So I'm here to sift it all out and ask questions along the way.

My goal is to keep LPS and Zoos.

Welcome to RC! I've been in the hobby for a about 3 years and got a large majority of my info from RC. It is easily overwhelming when looking at all of the equipment you can use and parameters that need monitored, but working with what you have and working on one fix at a time can really help learn the ins and outs of the hobby. Well worth it in the end IMO. I love my reef

Congrats on the tank and welcome! There's a lot of great helpful people on here. You can even post your setup/build progress in the tank builds section for everyone to see. Cheers.

I've also got a 120. Pretty good "start-up" size tank. Lots of options as far as fish choices. Enjoy the ride!
