Hi all and Happy New Year.

I have a question and I am sorry if I missed it somewhere on the ctars website. I just joined today and I am wondering- do we get mailed some kind of card with a membership number that we use for discounts on online purchases and to show at lfs' ?

Thanks!
Jodi

Welcome!

Yes, you'll get a card in the mail for LFS discounts. Online discounts come as part of group buys, or sometimes with a coupon code available on the CTARS site. You'll get an email with your password to log onto the members-only areas of the CTARS site and BB with more details.

It might take a little while for your card and/or login info... it's a busy time for membership. In the mean time ask here if you need anything.

Thank you very much!!!

I am getting ready to order a rodi from air water and ice and I want to wait, cuz I saw that they give a 10% discount.

Jodi,

Welcome to the club. We recieved your application and I forwarded it to our VP (so he can update the website, get yourpassword and your membership card) and our Membership committtee (so we can get some other info).

I see you are into kayaking, flatwater, whitewater or any place you can?

Also, in March, we are hoping to put together a big order with Air, Water & Ice - if we can, we can get a 20% discount. Just thought I would mention it if you were interested.

Hi Jeff-

Thanks for letting me know:)

Since we are down by the shore, we do alot of kayaking at bluff point, Mystic and Barn Island. We just started really getting into it this summer. I really enjoy it. Thanks for asking.

I will definately keep the group buy in March in mind- I am SURE we will need something.

Thanks again,
Jodi

Thanks crazykrammm:)

Kayaking is awesome, we are so glad we got into it. I even take my kayak to work with me and go with a coworker after work, a couple hours through mystic or bluff point is so relaxing especially on a beautiful day. You can't beat it!

Enfield has a kayaking event every March. Details can be found in the "Announcement" section of the CTARS forum on the CTARS website.

My wife does it and has a blast (to cold for me - I just go along for support and photo ops).
