Just ordered a Derasa from Diver's Den

very excited. i saw this guy pop up today when browsing Diver's Den and decided to pull the trigger. i've never seen one this color and pattern for.

should be here tuesday to start the QT process. of course i need more fish stuff like i need another hole in my head. luckily my girlfriend is very supportive of the hobby.

my boss got a good chuckle when i asked him if i could work from home tuesday to accept my clam shipment. my co-workers must all think me a bit odd.

Just getting ready to get a Derasa myself. My understanding is that it's the lowest-light clam, which is good because I don't want to be messing with extra lights right now.

unfortunately he didn't make it.

he didn't quite look good from the start, with some mantle pinching, and went down hill. died after about 12 days.
