just ordered a ts24 kit

i just ordered the 2 6100's and the multi controler, the tank it a 150 gal thats 72" long 18'' wide and 24''~ high. for the most part these are going to be the only/bulk of the flow. will this surfice ?
it has another 300-500 gph from the overflow but thats like a drop in the bucket.

also i was thinking of getting one 6000 with controler for my 55 gal 48" long

If anything it might be too much. With fine sand you may have problems. You will have to start the pumps with very slow speeds.

the 72" long tank has a rubble bottom

my 55 gal has no sand and i wanted to use the 6000 to replace my 1,000 gph closed loop

It will definitely be high flow, for SPS that are acclimated it will be fine. You may have trouble with some LPS.

sounds good. the 55 is going to be only sps and the 72" long tank is going to be mixed if i find out the 6100 are to much flow can i replace the driver with the 6000 driver to have lower flow ? or would it be something else or can it be done at all ?
