just picked these up today

I have always liked "Mean Greens" Never been able to get ahold of some, came across this colony and picked it up.
This is a pic from the seller, my son has my digital till this weekend.

The pic shows off a little more blue than my lighting does, but overall they still look great.

Would these be considered "Mean Greens"?

I'm not sure what they'd be called, but they are awesome corals! Even if they're not mean greens they're going to be a great tank addition.

there are just 3 that they could be. the name should not matter to you if that is what you like.

I was only asking because i have been out of the hobby for a couple years and just getting back into it. thanks for the links to the pics. I really like them no matter what there called, just kinda nice to know what their common name is.

Nice colony! Watch out for sponge rot/white fungus, if they were wild. That Solomon rock is dense and prone to the problem. good luck

I always try to cut and scrape the sponge out, it will kill everything in its path!

not sure if they are wild or not, i got them from a local reefer, so far they are doing well, and all frags seem to be good so far
