Just picked up used ro, how to test water

The guy didn't know when the filters were replaced, it is a watts premier wp5. Do I just test for phosphates and nitrates?

Did it come with a TDS meter ? I would replace all the filters. Is it just RO or does it have a DI filter ?

You test for TDS (Total dissolved solids). There is handheld and inline testers. Your shooting for 0 tds. Without a DI section you wont reach O though. Is yours just RO?

You can get a TDS meter online for $10 to $15. Be sure to get the calibration fluid as well (another $5 or so).

It is a 5 stage ro no di and no meter. I wonder if any if the water places test water?
