just removed xenia is it going to spread

I just removed xenia that came on some zoo frags i got about 2.5 months ago. The xenia was starting to overgrow the zoos. So i scraped off the xenia at the base of it but little particles of it were flying throughout the tank. Am I going to have xenia everywhere now?

Yup, most probably. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that stuff can take hold anywhere it lands.

if you left any little piece on the rocks it will re-grow. if any small pieces floated around, they will regrow where they land. it is definitly a nucinse coral. next time take a torch to the stump on the rock that you fragged.
