Everyone is welcome in The SLASH forum. Any upcoming events or meetings in the future feel free to PM me with your first name, and where you are from. That way I can find you shy ones.

We want to get to know you, and make sure you know everyone of us. The reef buddy program is here and will always be for those who need it. It will grow as the membership does so hopefully we can get you lined up with your closest neighbor for those newbies. More to come.

Actually, I dont spend much time around those parts (Intensive care and its associated branches) anymore. Too much doom n' gloom and blood n' guts for my taste. (And on chicken wing day, you better watch out!).

But come by to visit 'Nook when I can and some times he'll sell me tank parts wrapped in soiled utility bags.

Ok, so after a little "gentle" prodding via pm from scbadiver, and being accused of lurking, which I have for the past year, it's time to post!

I'm dr_rick, but my real name is just Rick. I'm not actually a doctor, but I played one in college (pre-med). I'm getting ready to finally start my first reef, a 20H with a 10g sump. Waiting to finish up the stand so I can get everything plumbed and get the water and LR in!

I feel like I know everyone, since I've been here for a year. I know why to make fun of everyone, Nanook has no water in his tank and by the bucketful, Chad is the Deltec and other expensive equipment king (and he got temporarily banned), etc. I'm sure once the tank gets up, I'll have a ton of questions, but so far I'm just reading like crazy!
