I'll say it's spring now.

Good photos, I too like the one showing the water slider and the shadows.

It's not spring here... still a good foot or two of snow on the ground :)

The water strider shot is bomb. I also love the pollen laden bees in flight. Nice job!

The frog shot is a little flat looking.

My roses are starting to bloom here.

Yea, kinda the way the sun was hitting the water and the frog stirring things up a little. This is a bit better.

And a couple more.

Much better with the frog. I realize that's a tough angle with the lighting and water.

That butterfly was posing for you. Lovely colors. I want to float a fly over the trout. :)

I'm going fly fishing before sunrise tomorrow, that trout got me excited! :D We have 4 species of trout here but no rainbows, its all saltwater. I'll be flying for redfish, tarpon, snook, and bonefish! :)

I was just at the fly-store getting tying materials... seasons open on the 24(I think) but ice is still on most water we want to fish... going May 2nd weekend... hoping...

I will catch a bonefish on my fly rod one day.

I was trout fishing (and catching) in Montana before Easter. I went bass fishing yesterday. Reeled a 5lb largemouth to the boat before it jumped and came unbuttoned. A great time.

We will be down by the Allegheny River by Freeport trying to get a shot of a family of Bald Eagles that moved into the area.

So we didn't see any eagles, but this was funny. I know the pic sucks, but the moment was excellent. We were walking through the woods when we heard a crow screaming. Looked up and pulled the camera up at the same time. I was still moving when my finger hit the shutter, but this was the shot I'd like to have back, but if I was out in the open things may have been better.

The crow was chasing the hawk!!!! We saw his nest and figured the hawk was looking for dinner. Oh, well, maybe next time. Here's the ones I caught though.

Very nice! I've seen crows chasing hawks. There was a mob of crows hassling an owl that temporarily sought refuge in the redwoods in my yard a few years back. I can hear the blackbird. Great shot of the snake's head staring down the camera. Good focus.

We have a few hawks that come to our yard regularly. Must be nesting nearby. I always know when they are around because the crows go wild. Nice shots by the way!

Standard POS 55-200 vr. It's my longest and since we were birding it's the one that was on. It was also the only one I had as it was hot and I wasn't carring my pack.
