Just got a new cam so I figure I'd post some pics to see what you guys think. Its a Rebel Xsi. Thanks for looking. The first one is an HDR through Photomatix but I'm still learning how to use that program.

Any comments or ways to improve would be great....

Thanks for all the comments. Not too sure what my next lens will be yet. Probably something along the around 200-300mm area and then a 100mm macro lens for sure.

I've been camping all weekend so I'll post some more once I get back to a pc. The xsi kit that purchases came with the 18-55mm and yes it is the is version. Thanks for the compliments. I'll post more to see what you guys think.

I think the photographer deserves more credit here than the camera ;)
Love the shots.. well composed and beautifully saturated.

The HDR's are beautiful.. but a little "soft"? Have you tried playing around with the sharpness slider in Photomatix?

Thank you. Its my first dSLR and I'm really enjoying it. I haven't really played with the sharpness slider but maybe I'll run one of them through it again to see if the end results are better. Thanks for the tip.
