Bored and figured I would share some recent photos of my 75g. Lighting is two 150w 20k Ushio’s. One Vortech is used for flow. Nothing fancy just some random photos. All shots taken with a Nikon D40 and the 18-55mm kit lens. I didn't break out any other lens for this shoot.

Mind you I just had gotten done doing a water change so there is some slimming going on. Sorry about that :(

Here are some of my ausie acans……

Very nice use of your D40 and kit lense. Can yo please share your tank lighting and if any lighting was used on the camera.

Thanks I use the "M" manual setting and adjust the shutter and F-Stop from there. There was NO flash used on the camera and the lighting is two 150w Ushio 20K's. I do also run two 96w 50/50 bulbs but they were off at the time of the shoot. I don't run them much anymore as I get too much glass algae. What a pain.

I also use a tripod and a remote timer I set the camera at a 2 second delay when the remote is triggered.

Hope that helps.

I saw this tank over on Nano reef. This is probably one of the nicest 75 I have ever seen. I love how natural it looks. Your tan is very inspiring. Keep up the good work

Wow. One of if not the best 75g tanks I've ever seen! I'm surprised and encouraged by the level of success you seem to be having with the 2x 150W 20k Ushio... I just got an Outer Orbit 150w/T5 setup for my 75g and thought for sure I was gonna be stuck with lower kelvin to keep SPS happy w/par.

Very nice work :)
