Looks like a long tentacle anemone. If it's a torch, it really is awesome!

Agreed. Fantastic colors!!!

yeah i know!!! i promise its a torch!!! it gets so big i had to put some of it in the sand cause i dont have any room! it started stining all my other corals. they look awesome, and the best part of it. they look like that in a 20 gallon tank with a 96 watt power quad!!!!

so some lucky reefer will have a chance to get a piece of my super green torch

Very nice healthy looking torch. Can't tell very well in the pic, but is it reaching out and torturing the Zoas to the right?

o yeah, forgot about them, ive had that colony forever, im probally going to be bringing them too, thats a local type of zoo, i found a colony, took 4 polyps, (completley legal BTW[CHECK THE MYFWC WEBSITE FOR INFO ON RECREATIONAL HARVESTING])

that colony has gotten pretty big and i no longer have the space for it, i think i will be donating that entire piece as well, base ball size, those things are tuff though, that torch has a good sting, messed up my bubble tip, i thought it would go the other way, but for some reason it doesnt seem to bother the zooz, mind you a few wont open while there being touched, but other then that there fine. i would love to move it but i dont have any other space then that spot, so im glad it going to be finding a new home also,

Cute babies...I have a breeding pair of Bangaii cardinals in my reef as well. The male constantly has eggs, but I've only been able to raise one of the babies, since they are usually eaten as soon as they are released. Still, it's nice to know that my tank is healthy and stable enough for them to breed...usually breeding is the first thing to go in captive conditions.

You may have already seen this, but Frank Marini wrote a great article on breeding and raising Bangaiis:

What are you feeding them? I have a brine shrimp hatchery from brineshrimpdirect.com that works very very well. Then again, that was before I knew about the decapsulated brine shrimp eggs that you can buy!

Good luck with the babies...mine is doing great in my 36 gallon tank. He's about a year old now.

well thats the thing, when there just hatched babies, you need to feed them rotifers, most of the time the brine, even as babies are too big until the fry have grown, or atleast thats what ive found with mine.

mine are being fed roti-feast from reef nutrition at least 5 times a day, sometimes 8-10. thanks for the article, looks good :D

I fed mine baby brine shrimp from day one...he ate like a little piglet!

Still, it sounds like you have it completely figured out...good luck with the babies and I hope they all stay healthy for you!
