Just wanted to share - BTA

Picked this guy up January 1st. For about the first week I feed him every other day. Haven't fed since. He's supposed to be a rose bubble tip, but under actinic's (led) he's got a lot of green to him. Turn them down and he's all red. Not too worried about it either way, I like him and he seems to be doing pretty well in my tank.

This was right after I got him

This was today

I thought I had it zoomed the same, but unfortunately was off a little. I don't know how much is from opening up more, or from growing, but it at least LOOKS a lot bigger. You can see how it's sitting compared to the white rock below it and the clam thing to the left of it.

Anyway, just wanted to share.

Looks great, mine has alot of green show up also under blue lights so its common but still looks cool.

Good luck.

A couple of mine look just like that. Also under led's. The middle one and the one on the right have been in my tank for over a year.

I'll post as soon as I figure it out. The one on the right has a clone right behind it, and they never look the same. And they're both funny bubbles.

They look the coolest when just the blue lights are on. I've never gotten a good picture of that tho.

Here is my BTA rock

out of curiosity is it normal for them to stretch as much as that center RBTA has? This is the only one I have do this

I believe the idea is that if the tentacles are out longer they're just stretching out seeing what they might catch. If they're spread wider (the disc part) they're trying to get more light. As far as bubbles vs. skinny tentacles nobody really knows. Lol
