It probably depends on the cause of the crash (temperature spike? Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate spike? Chemical contamination? Low Oxygen due to loss of powerheads? etc.) and also the hardiness of the inhabitants.
But in general, I would expect it to go corals, fish then inverts like crabs, etc. But a tough coral might survive when a delicate fish doesn't. Sometimes snails seem sensitive, but other times they might be the only survivors.

I've seen Brittle stars and Xenia go first from a crash caused by Ph spike. The SPS took a long time to recover, but I can proudly say are now growing. Everything else is growing like normal.

No. Red slime is a sign of too many organics/nutrients in the tank.

then you've probably overfed too long and there's excess nutrients laden throughout the tank. while cutting back on feeding is certainly a good first step, look at other ways of nutrient export to solve the problem.
A good way to nutrient export is to incorporate some type of refugium in your sump or externally and grow a macro algae like chaeto or caulpera. Alot of people put the refuge lights on timers opposite of the main tank to help provide stability in the pH. Cooking your live rock 10 or 15 pounds at a time is another way to get rid of excess nutrients like phosphates and to promote good bacterial growth and no problem algae.
