Juv.Impertaor Angle in 3ft cube

I have a 8ft X 3ft X 3ft tank.I have in there at moment,Sailfin & Purple Tang,Foxface,1 Blue Chromus & 2 Threadfin Butterfly's.
I want to get a Juv Imperator Angle soon.I was considering putting a plastic grid divider in tank so angle would be by itself for a couple of weeks.Would other fish ok?

Ime the Imperator can hold its own even as a juvie. I wouldn't worry about dividing the tank. Good luck this is a nice fish and very vocal to, listen for the grunts when it gets mad.

+1 above. Should be fine as I just introduced one to a tank with two juve angels (blue face, koran) along with three tangs (powder blue, sailfin, and yellow tang). The blueface and powder blue gave it the hardest time for about a day, but after that, everything was well. No torn fins/frail fins, etc - just a lot of sizing up. They were about all the same size `4"

i would put it in a QT first. angels are bad about parasites/flukes to risk introducing in the DT.

I will be catching my own,have seen a few around.
Would it still need to be quarantined,from ocean into tank ?
I have caught all fish except purple tang.

A very interesting question. In my opinion MI is a confined quarters parasite. If you capture your own, you may be ok, but I would love to hear other opinions. If it were me, I would do 2 tank transfer quarantines and call it a day.
