K!

That's a lot of witless drivel...

Just think, if I said something useful 1% of the time, that's 10 useful posts! :bounce3:

Well, technically, I said K (decimal value), not kB (binary value), and to be really technical, 1024 is a kibibyte (2 to the tenth), not a kilobyte (ten to the third)... :)

Jeff's joke was that a "k" is 1024, not 1000, so I was missing a few posts still. It's total geek humor: binary systems like computers are in base-two (10000000000 in binary notation) as opposed to base-ten like the metric system...

Without the geeking out, ever own a ".5" GB MP3 player and see it is actually 512MB, not 500? That's half 1024... No hard drive is really as advertised if it is a simple X GB number, that's always just approximate. It's really some multiple of 1024, which is a multiple of 2... OK, I did just geek out. :reading: While I'm at it: Did you know that 1024 is 32 squared? - It's a neat number, I mean, as far as numbers go...

Wow you guys ARE a bunch of geeks. I'm going to go study the Mira Vista Blasto urine antigen test and put together a presentation on it.......oh I guess I'm a geek as well:)

What does potassium have to do with how many posts you have made????
N-P-K - good one Eddie!

Go ahead and geek out with your findings; here is fine. I've got absolutely no idea what you're talking about, other than that I don't want Mira Vista Blasto... I presume I'm safe by not being a "small animal". Oh, and please don't pee on me.

Indeed you did. Sorry, I rarely read more than a few posts prior unless it is for people seeking advice on tank problems, etc.
It's all good Dave. It's best that your expertise is reserved to such things. It would be wasted reading every witless drivel!

As Melanie would say........ This thread has gone on long enough without any pictures...

Ha! We saw some Osprey yesterday when volunteering in the TN river clean up. It would have been even more awesome if it took out a plush toy, or at least a plump child or something...

Do I get like, 0.5 posts for this thread? Or is that too optimistic?
