K2R or Korallin 1502?

I have both of these reactor and I honestly don't see a huge difference. Which one would be a better choice for a 100g display 30g sump/fuge? The K2R has a Eheim 1046 and the 1502 has a 1048.

I have two of a lot of things.

Just like my lights, I always have two sets to test and keep one. Ditto with pumps etc...

One or the other will be up for grabs eventually either will come with bottle and regulator.

Did you ever sell those 175W MH you had? I am looking for one.

If you are comfortable with adjusting the Korallin, I'd keep that one. Of course, the Korallin would be an easier and slightly higher sell.

Yah, the Korallin is also a more expensive unit retail. The K2R has a slightly bigger chamber.


Jedi, those 175w are gone. I have a bunch of HQI sitting around though. lol
