I just saw that thread for the first time today, too, Rudy. Sounds very promising. If I didn't already have 4 Tunze 6025s for my 120, I'd probably give it a shot.

Looks like a winner to me. I was thinking about buying another 2 Korallia #4 for each of my tanks, but this mod should take care of the additional flow i wanted. I will probably order mine this weekend.

would this mod work with K3s or is there size difference between the 3 and 4s that would make it not possible for use on K3?

no idea on the K3. You may be better off asking this question on the main thread regarding the K4 mod linked above.
