They're both 3/4" and according to the RC drain/overflow calculator, a 3/4" drain can move roughly 330gph.brainiac said:i think it was a compliment...anyways... whats the gph of the two drains and are they 3/4 or 1/2 ??
Not exactly. My two Maxi-Jet 600s in the tank circulate a combined 320gph. My Maxi-Jet 1200 return from the refugium pumps 295gph at 0' of head, but it's pumping a vertical 3.5' or so. My best estimate is that it's moving around 150-175gph. That would give me a combined total somewhere around 470-495gph or 23.5-24.75 times turnover. Hope this helps answer your question.brainiac said:so you're doing +/- 660 gph ?? well thanks and nice tank.
Ah! Thanks for the clarification and compliment! :thumbsup:pimp2daizzo said:Your tank kills = it's one of the nicest tank i have seen in sometime.

Things are looking magnificent.![]()
No, no more SPS in this tank for me. I'm actually considering a few options. I'm either going to make it LPS dominated or I'll try to get my hands on every possible color of zoanthid and ricordea I can and just let them overrun the tank.pimp2daizzo said:you should try a birdnest.
Thanks! I can't wait to see your 20 when you get started on it either!vest0830 said:your tank is looking great! I cant wait to get started on my 20gal long....
