Kalk and RO/DI water

Hi- I just installed a multi stage RO/DI unit for my 155. The good news....my algae is disappearing! Bad news(maybe)- When I mix Kalk water; the mix stays couldy and does not settle out as it used to with "normal water". Any thoughs. Is this normal?

I use some vinegar to help disslove the kalk before mixing with RO/DI water. I forget the exact ratio though I just mix.

Are you sure that it is not settling? There will be a scum develop on the water surface but under that should be clear.

You guys are right. There is scum on the top but the middle layer is clear!
