Kalk dripping

I drip at night as well as run a PC light over my fuge. Everything is very stable Calc 420, Ph 8.0 and KH is 11 dkh. I guess my question at this point is, should i drip 24 hrs for a couple of days to see where things are at? I would like to see the calc up to maybe 450 but the PH is what i'm most concerned about. I guess i could do some two part calc to bring it up.

I drip one gallon of kalk evry other night and on the alternate days I add one cup of each component of Randy's two part (high ph recipe).

I dont think you can drip enough kalk to have any impact on your calcium lvl as far as raising it goes. Takes alot to even raise it a little bit. It does help to stretch your additives tho. It will for sure raise your ph. I drip it from my top off instead of a daily amount or every other day only because im lazy. Easy to fill my topoff with water and kalk and then forget about it for a few days. And I like the idea of presipitating any phosphates that make it into my tank. And I guess the main reason I like to run it all the time is that it purifies my makeup water. I add 2-2.5 gallons a day and and knowing that kalk has had time to settle out anything that may have made it past my RO unit makes me feel better. I have horible water.

I only drip right now. As stated above perms seem to hold steady. I supose as my corals get bigger i will have to do more two part.
